Could someone please post a pic of their strobe tube in the reverse light of their 88-98 style gm truck? I don't think I can fit one in there!

I looked at doing that when I did mine but it was so tight I didn't want to take the chance and melt anything.I too would like to see a pic.

GUYS.......I have seen somewhere on the truck sites
about special Hi-Power bulbs for backup lights.

Some guys were concerned that they would melt the
lense or blow fuses.

GM plow prep. equipped trucks have a special 10 amp. ?
fuse just for the back up lights according to the GM
upfitter site.

Will search around and post the brand and where to get them
IF I can find them!............geo

You can buy higher wattage lamps from a variety of sources on the web, performanceproducts.com has a good selection. AutoZone also has a good selection in their electrical section.

The question is can you put a strobe inside the backup light and still have the back up light there not get a brighter back up light.

So it's really can you fit 2 things in one spot 1. the original back up bulb and 2. can you have a hid-a-way stobe in the same spot?

I thought of doing the same thing but all the installers said that you will have to remove the reverse bulbs 1 Because of heat 2. Because of space 3. It's a little illegal and you might flash the red part of the tail light. It's illegal here anyways.
