I have a boss V and the right side of the plow wont angle out. It just clicks and you can hear the motor run, but the right side wont move. All other operations of the plow work fine. I just bought this truck with the blade on it and it worked fine. I took the plow off of it and went to put it back on and I drove up into the blade, flipped the swich on the light tower and went in the truck to push the button to lock the plow on, it just clicked and I found that the plow was not getting a good ground. Got it to ground and it locked on. Now I cant get the right side to work. I check the little round coils and checked the wires going to them, and all looked good. Could a valve be stuck, or could it also be a ground problem??
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance

the answer is YES... It could be either problem OR it could be a poor connection in the 13 pin plug (check the condition of the pins and sockets at the 13 (if it is older it might be an 11) Pin Connector. what year is the plow? your method of installing the plow onto the truck sounds like it is a pre-2000. Pull the pump cover off and see if the wires are all still connected as they should be. The schematic is on the inside of the cover as well as inside the installation manual. If all looks good you can remove the left side solenoid and switch it with the right and see if the problem follows the solenoid or stays on the same side. this simple tesst will make helping you easier than writing about 10 different scenerios. Let me know what you find and I will be happy to try and help you fix it
