The Friday Reception & Kenote Session ends at 6:15 p.m. June 26, 2009.
I suggust we all meet at 6:30p.m. in the Galt house hotel lobby. We can all go to the Crab shack for dinner and drinks.
I am working on another idea for a location to meet, I think it would be nice if we had some kind of private room, with drinks & food. It may cost us $20 a head for the room, let me know what you think.
I think we should start by adding our names to this list if we are interested in going.

Paul (Neige) Montreal, Qc. Canada
Tony Montreal, Qc. Canada
Pierre Sherbrooke, Qc. Canada

Instead of a private room, Just go to Coyotes, rite downtown, Trust me, I've been going to Louisville for 11 years now and wont ever miss it. The whole bar is a city block big with i think four different bars in it. I usually just stay in the country bar though. This will be way better than the Gault House bar, used to stay there. Dont miss it. The cab drivers will know where it is.

Coyotee's is a fun place we'll probably head out there later. I'm guessing you've been there for the farm show like myself.

Fantastic, the bars were open untill 4am. Oh sorry you wanted to know about the show. LOL The show was great, I learned alot and met some alot of new faces and got to see to some old ones. Count me in for next year in Providence. Neige won Sima's top contractor over 1 mill which was a really big deal (Congrats!). My dad had so much fun again this year he's already talking about next year.

Got to the Symposium a little late this year due to family stuff early in the week. Thomas and Rich AKA Tileman and I made it in mid day on Thursday. Hit the Snack and Chat and then Made the trade show and saw the guys hitting up the Beer Cart as soon as it came out. For those that made the journey to NTEA there was alot of the same stuff with a few twists. KAGE blades had some good info and there was a showing by John Parker from Taconic at the Magic Booth. HE WAS VERY BUSY. The Fluid Film guys were there less Joy........Was Bummed. Shared the new use...Starting Diesels with it. And helped them sell a bunch. The Back Drag edge guys were there as well as some good software suppliers and a new supplier for deflectors and rubber edges located close to us.

We got out and were treated to drinks and AC by Ed from Snowman back blades. Burnt thru a couple of napkins and some notebook paper with his new ideas....keep tuned should be good. Then we went to the Awards banquet. Think we were the hillbillies there as we hadn't gotten time to check in to the hotel yet so travel clothes were the attire.

Got to Visit with Matt Bowman, NEIGE and Jerry Horning before heading up to see the Mike from Down Easter and the SIMA girls keep up traditions at the bar. They need to get out more often. There was a private meeting arranged by some of the board members and Jerry was all the while ready to head out as it was his first time away with the "guys" as he put it in a while.

Friday morning I got to set with Martin and talk about next year at RI for the Symposium. Should be a nice set up with everything under one roof system. was a couple of morning seminars and then to the trade floor. Lunch was good. Thanks to all of the sponsors. Oh and more Beer flowed.....Now we just needed them to get some KY Bourbon flowing too HINT HINT.

We headed out to dinner at a great place called Mortons. Didn't find the guys at the crab place as the group I was with didn't get out of there till after 11:00. We made our way to 4th street. Imagine 4 blocks of bars ALA Baltimore's warf but with a street in the middle. They close it down a bunch of days a week and on the weekend for activities.

I called it an early night about 2:30 and left Greg from Superior Tire singing Nickleback "burn it to the ground"

Saturday was time to get dressed up and pretend I knew something interesting. Hopefully those in attendance got something good to take back about getting the most value out of there equipment.

We got out of there as they were headed to the downs. Heard one guy say he was" hoping to win enough to make payroll.........."

Tom and I headed down to Makers Mark and saw an awesome group of bikers on a memorial ride. The police there really help out with traffic flow.

Made our way back up to the Kelso's and home late Sunday.

Looking forward to next year.

Oh picts....didn't take any at the symposium. Sorry J
