I had one a couple of years ago, really liked it, then it got stolen. Wish I still had it, ended up just replacing it what another trimmer. The system was pretty nice, just pull one attachment off and put another one on.

Haven't had one with the broom attachment, but we have a couple that we have edger and trimmer attachments for.

Great units, with typical Stihl quality.

Based on these two reports, I think I'll finally try one. I've always stayed away from them and used dedicated trimmers, but would like the added flexibility. Glad to hear those that have had them also like them. Thanks for sharing.

I used a friends last year with the broom attachment to get gravel out of grass after the snow was over, it worked great. Might just have to buy another one this year, looking to get another trimmer, but with the attachments I must just spend the extra money and get the kombi system.

I have a powerbroom attachment and it gets little to no use.

It is great for cleaning the debris off the edges of lawns after a harsh winter but it also takes a toll on your back. Its a nice implement to have but if I was to do it all over again I would probably spare myself from buying the broom attachment.

As far as the Stihl Kombi system it is a terrific setup. I have had my Kombi setup for a long time and it has held up to a lot of abuse.
