I have a dodge 2000 2500 4wd 4:10 gear. I trying to improve the MPG.
Someone suggested K&N Air filter. Are they good? Is there anything else I can do to improve my fuel economy?

Billy ,maybe change driving habits,or reduce warm up time, just drive it easy.Changing to full synthetic fluids front to rear esp in cold climates can get you up to a mpg or so better. Keep your tires at max inflation allowed(ride will kill you though with E range tires) The mopar performance computer advacnes timing and increases fuel milege slightly, but then you need to run premium fuel so no benefit ex small lpower increase.I dont even know if its still avaliable for the 02s. A k&N filter is good for gassers,it improves airflow slightly, combine that with acat backj exhaust better breathing, you may pick up a tiny bit of MPG but it wont be enough to pay fo the exhaust.
