I have the Boss 7'6" straight blade on my '03 Dodge Ram 2500 and it always worked flawlessly until recently. After plowing I go to take the plow off and it will not budge off the truck. I have to get out the floor jack and lift the plow up to the next hole on the kickstand and then it pulls away from the truck. I contacted Boss about this and here is their reply:
"The first thing to check is the mounting height of the pushbeam on the truck. The center of the receiveing hole should be 151/2 from the ground. (Mine is 14 1/2") If this is correct, the plow can be adjusted. The bumper stop between the center section and the pushframe can be moved back toward the truck. This will bring the plow up"
I am having trouble identifying all these parts and do not see where to make the adjustment(s). Any help you could provide is appreciated.
