Reminds me of a saying an old man once told me, he grabbed his beer and offered me one and said "come'on son lets sit by the fire, drink beer, and tell lies. Best night I had in a long time.

We have a television station that shows a fireplace and plays Christmas tunes all day on Christmas day. In our old house I would turn it it on, crank up the heat and Walla we had a fireplace. LOL :D

Boy that fire looks good!

Maybe because I'm freezing right now.

The other day I happened across a fireplace screensaver complete with crackling sounds. It was pretty cool. :D

Hey Joe! Fancy meeting you here! I will have to post some pics of ours in action as soon as I get it up and running! I like the custom hood over yours Big Nate. I do custom woodworking myself, and prefer a wood mantle piece, but I am looking at including some metal inlays as well as some exotic woods to spice things up. I will post some pics of projects when I finish them if anyone is interested.
