Well First let me say I gotta thank Jerre Heyer big time and we are lucky to have him on this site. A few days ago I had to plow 3" of heavy wet mashed potato's and I swung a hard left by a 30 yd dumpster full of concrete and miss judged. You guessed it POW! slammed the very top corner of the wing into the dumpster. Everything on the seat hit the floor. Well after I scraped myself off the dash I noticed a small tweak in the wing. I called Jerre and e-mailed him pics. He called me right up and told me how to fix it. I had to cut the outer rib though cause this sucker wouldnt move. Pulled it with another truck while the blade was braced down so it wouldnt move and I have to say that wing wouldnt move so we sliced the rib and tweaked it back. Welded up the slice and put a plate on it. I will say the plow worked fine for the rest of the storm, wing worked and had no problems. I can say this, My fisher took far less of a shot and I just about totaled it. heres some pics. here you can see from such a high hit the top of the wing tweaked back

Oh they didn't tell you they had the edge up against a curb and the main blade bound back with a chain binder so it couldn't trip when they hooked up that smoking 4X4.
Glad to know they followed instructions as good as they do.
I said pipe wrench monkey.......
A little twist and shout with a pipe wrench and hammer and if it don't work.......Smoke it.........Wrench that is or plasma in my neck of the woods.
Bill I promised to show you my fix to make the plow spin that damn dumpster out of the way next time. I'll get it posted for all to see.
Jerre.
P.S. wish I had picts of the guard rail they pulled out when they slid the plow under.
Score plow 1 bent wing. Guard rail removed. What a piece of junk..

You snowplow-contractors guys are keeping me up nights. Just had to teach myself to resize pictures. Now to learn to draw on them too like Jay and Nate and I'll be happy for a few minutes.
Bill here's the added rib I put on the plows that the COWBOYS here have bent up. Guess the buildings, phone poles, dumpsters, guard rails and frozen snow banks jump out a little more frequently when we plow for days and DAZE on end. Hope this is clear enough. I have several other angles if needed.

More pics! More pics! That looks pretty stout Jerre. Can we see from a different angle, maybe with wing extended.
