89 celeberty tail light removal

How do I get the tail light lens off on my dads 89 cleberty to change a bulb... Darn thing has no screws ,or i am missing something ..:rolleyes:

I believe you access the bulbs from inside the trunk behind the filler panel. I could be wrong, but I remember doing such in my grandma's Celebrity.

i dont remember seeing any screws there when i had the truck open, but it was late, so i will let ya know how i make out today

Should be large black plastic wingnuts on the inside of the trunk.Remove them,and the whole tailight assy comes out.

Wow! The Chevy Celebrity That brings back memories . GM built them in the Framingham, MA plant . GM invested big money in an updated paint facility them immediately closed the plant .

Didn't the paint peel off those old birds? That is why they probably closed.LMAO

This car dont have the plastic wing nuts like any other car ive seen. There is 3 bolts on the outside of the trunk right in the back corners of the truck. Top bolt took it right out and the lens poped out.....
