filter screen

I was wondering where is the filter screen located in the western
plow located? Is it under the motor? And how do i change it?

I wanted to change the fluid in my plow. What procedures do I do? Is there any other maintance procedures I should do.

Remove the motor,and the screen is right on the front side of the pump.

If your just changing the fluid,it's as easy as draining the old,and refilling with fresh fluid.You may want to flush everything out by disconnecting the lines,and running the pump.You can also flush the angle cylinders by pumping the old fluid out into a bucket using the plow to move the rams back and forth.Stick the hoses in a jusg of fresh fluid,and push the plow back and forth again to fill the cylinders,and help purge out the air.

Make sure the lift ram is fully retracted before topping off the fluid,or you may overfill it.
