Picked it up on Friday and thought I'd share some pics, hopefully I have time to install it this week so I'll post some pics along the way. It really does look built well. The centre pivot pin looks really beefy compared to my Boss as it goes down into the cutting edge. I'll keep everyone posted on how the install goes.

Good point, but having the back black would be very nice, less headlight bounce back. There's plenty of snow glare without adding to it with a bright back on a plow.

The yellow markers and cutting edge really standout, I'm sure it will stand out better then a white plow in a snow storm.:grinz

Looks Good Dave ,,, on Color i have considered doing a blade in Black the truth is with little sun radial heat would tend to keep blade from snow sticking after setting . And i like Black and yellow accents looks good.

Generally if there any good they don't stay long at Tims, havn't really noticed any queers but to tell you the truth I wasn't really looking for them but I will keep my eyes open now. To be honest I really don't have a problem with gay people.

Got most of the mount on this morning, not really a big deal once we figured it out. Taking the bumper off and the fairing below the headlights is what took the time. We have to bring some more trators down to their lots so hopefully we'll have a couple more hours to work on it when we get back. I'll bring my camera out and take some pics.

OK here's the deal. I don't hold Snoway accountable for these events I experienced and I wish I could have worked this out with my dealer but I regret to say I took my Mega V back for a full refund. I ordered the blade in Aug and I didn't fianlly get a call for pickup untill Nov 6th and I picked the blade up the following day Fri Nov 7th. I didn't have a chance to install the blade untill Monday Nov10th and that's when I noticed my controller and wiring for it was missing, so I called the dealer and it came in Wednesday night. Thursday morning we hooked up the blade and it was operational but I found out the light adapters were missing. So at 9am Thursday morning I called the dealer and he swore he gave me the adapters but he agreed to UPS them to me directly from the supplier and I would for sure have them for Fri night because snow was in the forcast. Well on Sunday night I still didn't have them and my truck was still in pecies waiting so I decided to email some people from Snoway and to my surprise I got a lot of emails at 11pm on a Sunday night and I must admit I was pretty impressed. They told me the parts were dropped off at the dealer on Fri. I was like WTF. So Mon morning I called the dealer and he kind of told me the parts just came in but when I said I knew they were in on Fri he changed his tune and told me he just didn't have time to call me and what pisses me off they were open on Sat also. Another thing is they sent me my curb protector wings and when I opened the box they were plow shoes and the guy swore to me they were curb protectors. So at 10am Monday morning I decided it would be in my best interest not to deal with this dealer and I returned the plow and they uninstalled it for nothing. I feel bad because over the past couple years Tom and I have become freinds and I can tell you that the Mega V was very well built and impressive. That being said having a good dealer is more important then the product IMO. To show what a good company Snoway is, they caslled me the next day and offered a free install at their head office and a 0% 12 month payment plan and if at the end of the year I still didn't like the plow I would get a free uninstall and a full refund. Too bad they didn't call me sooner because I would have took that deal because I'd already bought another blade. Sorry for the ramble but I thought I should explain myself. I think Snoway has a great product and I wish them good luck, it's just too bad my dealer spoiled it for me.

JD I am sad to see how things worked out between you and the retailer. As you know I did everything that I could to get this resolved for you but since you live in a territory that I don't service my hands were pretty tied as far as what else I could do.
I also consider you to be a good friend that I have gotten to know over the last couple of years and if I could have done it I would have driven to Toronto myself with adapters and curb guards in hand and helped you to finish the installation.
I appreciate your comments on how well built the Mega V is and also that you were willing to consider Sno-Way as part of your fleet after running the Boss V plows for so many years.
In the interim I look forward to our continued phone conversations as I consider you to be a brother from another mother, and meeting up with you again at SIMA next year.
Wishing you a safe, profitiable winter season.

Another Boss V, or what?
Yes, the Boss dealer is 5 min from my house and stalks every part made. They know me by name when I walk in and go out of their way to serve me. Clarke Moore Motors in brampton is also a JD dealer and I must give them a plug because they are a great dealer and I couldn't deal with a better place.

JD Dave, I am glad to hear things all worked out for you in the end. Wow, I gotta say I am impressed with Sno-Way after reading this. Good lesson to be learned here about what a good dealer can do to make or break a product. Kudos to Sno-Way though, if they keep this up they might just convert some folks over to them.

I think that one thing that everyone here on site will learn overtime if not so already, is that Sno-Way does care about every customer or potential customer. I would not spend the amount of time that I do monitoring forums such as this one if that were not the case.
I give up an immense amount of my own time just like other members here do, to make sure that if there is an issue that I can assist with I am more then glad to do so. I got my start in this business doing customer service work and one thing that I have taken with me in my 16 year sales career is that without customers knowing they are are going to get support after the sale, there will be no future sales.
If there was any way that I could have done more for JD I certainly would have done so. That statement applies to all other members here as well.
And for Mark, I just wanted to make sure that I didn't forget the popcorn this time ;) :popcorn2
