Do any of you have a company that sends you leads for some money?

I haven't heard of any snow companies using those, but have heard of a few landscape companies that have posted about using them.

Not exactly what you are referring to, but I have a listing at Chuck's site & this has generated a bunch of calls over the years. This season I've lost count, but I believe there were 8 or so calls & e-mails with 4 or 5 being commercial sites & the rest driveways. Most of them were outside of my small service area, but I referred them to anyone who I knew that was covering those areas at least.

so far they have all been in my area. it is really a great resource.

I don't know if I would pay someone to send me leads, I think I would rather research and target the type of customer I want to work for.

Besides as you build your business and reputation, the leads will come.

There are other ways to get leads, networking with other contractors come to mind, and it doesnt cost you anything. Sometimes other contractors dont want to take on any additional work, because they are booked solid. Most times they tend to refer to friends, at least thats what I do.
