I had my account messed up, and just got on..Thanks for your replies--
I plow from Norfolk , Mass with a silverado 2500 diesel/allison and 7 1/2 foot minute mount~~plus an old toro powershift 10/24 blower and a new 1130 Ariens~~and with luck, a shoveler/helper...my old back won't take too much of that~~~
Being new to this, what do you folks do for sand?? I wanted to offer it as an option, and was going to use black sand or stone dust~~Are these good ideas??

Don't use sand. waist of time IMO. Look in the deicing forum. There are much better options out there. Treated salt Magic-0 or Iceban just to name a few.

I would suggest Magic-0 here is there site with Mass Dealers (http://www.magicsalt.info/Dealers%20-%20MA.htm). Magic is a little more expensive but it is the best stuff on the market. IMO
