Well after all that discussion and talking to my snoway rep. He apparently does not think it will get here in time[the MEGA]. So now i have a new dilemma, which plow to get: 28v,32 hd, or western v? Any help greatly appreciated. Also i found it discerning that my rep was actually trying to sell me another plow instead of the MEGA. Even the price was higher than what one of the posts had said. If someone had one even in ohio or upper mich i would drive there.

If you're looking for a mega, you're obviously looking for productivity. Why not consider a power plow, Blizzard, Fisher, or Western?

What type of plowing are you doing? Commercial lots, residentials, a combination of both? Are your needs more inclined to be pushing and or relocating snow where you want to move it?

As much as I would like to give you a further opinion as to which plow it is difficult not knowing what your needs are. Also we are in the process of getting a sponsorship here and I don't want to step out of bounds by promoting here until the banner goes up hopefully sometime next week.

After years of saying i would never push snow,im pushing snow now. In my area there are alot of poor quality plowers. I eventually started 5 years ago doing my drive and a couple of friends.Last year alot and i mean alot of people just walked from their accounts. My customers have been around for over 20 years in the sprinkler biz, know im there 4 the long haul. So ive been offered some commercial.some churches and small strip malls, and some sub work. Im doing a little of everything to be honest. Will i make money....I better!

The only price I've seen posted on the site are suspect at best.

The Megas should be available at dealers in the next week

Have to wonder if the dealer you're taiking to isn't holding plows in stock he wants to move before getting in to the Megas.

I did forward an email to Rick to see what he can do if anything to locate a MegaBlade in his territory. Hopefully we can help this guy out.

We've been refering to them as a Revo, a Vee, or a contractor.

To clear up any confusion, the MegaBlade series consists of 3 different models of plows.

MegaBlade Revolution: Hydraulic wing plow

MegaBlade V-Wing: V Plow

MegaBlade Contractor: Straight blade plow

Im really appreciatingall the help you guys have been giving me. My first choice would be the v wing, 2nd the contractor, 3rd a 32hd w/wings. I loved my last snoway with the downpressure, and the beating it took repeatedly, with i might add not 1 problem......ever. Unlike my boss, but thats another story. I only miss having the v blade style. I ve only got i believe till wed this week before the pre-season prices are gone. So i have to commit soon or its 600 more for a plow. And in this economy im going to have to take it. If there is one in someother state can it be bought and freighted up to mich., or drop shipped, or i even will travel to get one. I have posted a thread on the western plow area as a contingency plan to get input on their v. I really dont want to change from a proven great blade co like Sno-way to another , but plan b is there. Thanks again for all the input, i had my mind made up 2mos ago but after seeing the mega v, well im addicted.

Sorry I missed your post, I haven't visited this site in recent days due to the "sponsorship" controversy, which will be resolved shortly.

Thank you for your interest in Sno-Way products.

The first units are scheduled to ship into Michigan as follows:

Muskegon Brake and Distributing-Muskegon, MI 10-24-08 (MB has most of theirs sold already, I think that they have 1-2 V-Wings left)

Cadillac Truck Service-Cadillac, MI 10-27-08 (NOTE: all Sno-Way retailers north of US-10 purchase their inventory from Cadillac Truck Service and pricing will be very similar regardless of which of these retailers you might choose to purchase from).

At this time, these are the only two master retailers that are stocking the Mega Series.

Please advise if I may be of additional assistance.

Well after 2 weeks I have you all to thank, for my new MEGA V-WING. Let me tell you about the response I got coming home last night from across the state. I stopped 2 times , and both times it drew a crowd. This would not have possible without all of your responses from these postings. THANK-YOU!
Now let me tell you that hte people in muskegon brake were very thorough, knowledgable, and carefull when onstalling the plow. I say this because the last people I dealt with cut a slash in my dash, left wires dangling, and blamed me for these problems on my new truck.I mean brand new! I wish we had any snowplow co who installs like this in my area. And believe me there are only 6 within 8 mile radius, but no SNO-WAY yet. The v-wing is AWESOME , its as if some one designed it to be from the best parts of all the other plow manufactures, then turned up the coolness , and made them better. I will refer to the 6mil $ man mantra, they did re-build it : thicker gauge, faster responses ,stronger ,controller smaller than expected ,fitting hand better, channels are wider on bottom, and wing selection is larger. Again , thank-you ,without this site I couldnt of done it.

I would also like to say that Muskegon Brake went above and beyond any customer service I have ever experienced. I bought my snoway used, and DJ spent hours helping me find the parts I needed to make it work. They are a couple of hours away from me, but I use them over my local 'dealer' because they are much more knowledgable and helpful.
