Dropped (literally, I wanted to roll it through the front door) the Excursion off at the Dealer on Tuesday morning. I could not keep it running yet again. 6th time on a trailer to the dealer in 60k miles.

WELL maybe they fixed it???? Replaced all 8 injectors, injector/glowplug harnesses on both sides, New Injector driver module, New PCM, New crank position sensor, New oil temp sensor, New high pressure oil pump, New fuel pump.....and a new PAT Key because the dealer lost it:headwall

Runs better, no air sucking sounds anymore, starts:D

Dealer worked to 6pm Saturday night on it.

We will see what happens. BUT I ordered a 350 reg chassis cab (going to put a steel flatbed on it.... sidewing and 8611 here I come.

Wife wants to keep the Excursion too:rolleyes: Its paid for I guess. I am just tired of being left on the side of the road. Told her to get the super duper AAA membership.

What year is it?
I just got my wife a 2000 X PSD 4x4 with 104,000 miles. Runs perfect, sorry to hear about your problems.
Is all the work being done under warranty?

It is an 01. This is/was my third powerstroke and the only one I have had issues with, It started at 14k miles and has died along side the road 6 times after that.

I think I threw enough of fit that they just decided to change EVERYTHING...

Everything has had $100 deductable and it cost $150-$200 everytime it is towed
