View Full Version : Dewalt Batteries
I need to replace a few Dewalt 18 volt batteries and found best prices so far on Ebay ($120-130/pair with shipping). Anybody find a real good source/price they could recommend?

Not sure if they have them in your area, but I have seen the two packs on sale at Home Depot for $99 every once and a while.
Lowe's or Home Depot. 119.00 all the time. Sometimes they kick them doen like Chris said.

I have found that the big box usually has them cheap $119 for 2 like what was mentioned they used to be $50 a battery but not any more and to replace the core just not worth it. although if they are fairly new I mean not been sitting on your brnch for ,months get them reconed battery plus is where i went and he said they can get them back pretty good if they are not drain down to nothing. try that first very cheap to recon them vs getting new or doing the core exchanged.

I called Battery Plus on these and the were more expensive than I expected. IIRC, 2100mah was about $60 and 2400mah was $72. New was $85. I ended loading up @ Lowe's for $119/pair.
I think one of the reasons I go through more batts than necessary is that I usually run them down to nothing before recharging. The instructions say to charge them as soon as they show a significant decrease in power. I'm gonna check the instructions to make sure I've got it right and try to develop new charging habits.
