I currently own a Western ProFlow 1 tailgate spreader with the under bed mount. It has worked out good for me, but the time is near where I will need to tow a trailer and bring a tailgate spreader along. Has anyone seen a tailgate spreader that will allow you to tow a trailer? Or do you have any ideas, besides using a V Box that would work?

Perhaps something with a swing-away type mount would be up high enough to clear the trailer tounge, I'm thinking something like the SnowEx 1075 or the 1875, I think they are up pretty high, just might be able to clear the trailer hitch.
One possible route to go
The tailgate spreaders are small & light, and there are a variety of ways they can be mounted to a variety of vehicles. Any decent fabrication\welding shop should be able to change the set up you have, or set up any newly purchased spreader to be mounted in any way you want. Now the problem you will have by raising the spreaders like that is that you won't be spreading as effectively because your material will be flying out way higher for example: over the curbs; into, instead of under cars in lots, etc.

If you have the "replacement hitch" mount, that the spreader sits on, that can be moved up look at the hitch piece and you'll see that it has different mounting holes where you can move the spreader up,but like BRL said you'll be less effective.
also if the trailer isnt too heavy you can get an 2"extention that goes into the 2'' box and comes out just at the end of the spreader. You can get them at RV parts places.
