I'm looking into purchasing a broadcast spreader with a low volume spraytank mounted on it. Specifically the lesco since it is available here in town. It has an 80# hopper with a 2 gal tank. The pump is powered off of a wheel that rubs a tire. Anyone have any experience with this model or any other similiar brands? I can't use anything this year with a tank more than 4-5gal's because this is the first year being licensed and we are restricted. Other than a back pack sprayer, this seems to be the only way to go for weedcontrol.

I can't seem to find much on Lesco's site probably because of the changeover to JD. I have a flyer somewhere with all the info but is lost in the black hole called my office. I'll keep looking or snap some pics next time I'm at their store.

Here's the kit-http://www.permagreen.com/synergy/ I think I can just bolt it to my Lesco spreader which looks like the exact one pictured.

I think my only concern with this setup is the low volume output of the nozzle. The spray width is fine but the the droplet size is tiny and the actual amount of spray mix/area is much less. Of course the mix will be a higher concentration but not sure if it will have the same affect such as a showerhead/hose sprayer with bigger volume.

I'm probably gonna try this thing and see how well it works (or doesn't work). If it is a windy day, drift will be a problem.
