Show was small this year . The highlights for me were the Snowway Megaplow , The MHD Meyer trailer outside and the new Arctic sectional box plows .

I went to the show today and it was as described, "smaller" than it has been. I think that’s not surprising but what I also felt was a sense of gloom or at least an uneasiness in the air and thats rare for a room full of salesman. I talked to several display people and nobody seemed all that "gung ho" about the show and the economy in general. People described sales as bad and people bitched about the price of steel and pretty much the cost of everything. Usually when I come back form this show or any show for that matter I get charged up at least a little about the upcoming season but that’s definitely not the case this year. Also the fact that one of our accounts that we've had the longest is rumored to be going belly up and soon. They've been a good customer since '92 and they were at one time the city’s largest employer. Just in general a fairly gloomy out look for this coming year at least from my standpoint.
