What could be wrong with this V if we have left and right V and scoop positions. The up and down is not working. IT goes up then it will fall down the controller keeps turning off and on. Had to ratchit strap it up. Any help will be appreciated.

My plow did this to me a cuople of times. First time it was gunk built up in the truck side connection- cleaned the pins and worked fine. Next time it was the swith for the tower went bad, still had wing functions but no lift, this sounds like what is happening to you. Take the front cover off, you can do this without removing the lift cylinder just gently lift the cover and slide it to the right. The 3rd time it was the truck side power cable, still had wing but no lift, wierd I know.

Hope this helps
Joe

It is ironic that I saw this on here tonight. My boss v RT 2 (not the newest design) is also not lifting. Actually it currently is, but we were on a jobsite last week and it did not want to raise, it would operate both wings, in and out but would not lift. I called the dealer, shop tech was unavaiable at the time but the secretary said to check and clean plow to truckside connections.

What you are describing could be the valve if cleaning the electrical connections don't do it. The controller could also be malfunctioning. If the controller is blinking turn it off and back on and see if that corrects anything. The new controllers will flash Green/Red when they enter sleep mode. Green?Off as you described might be a controller issue. Do you have a friend with a Boss controller you can try?
