Have you tried these ? They say the Military uses them ! Do they work ? Do you know where to get the extrusions cheaper ?

I don't know ,but with the aim light i could :ff in the dark. look like a good idea. i was on a tank in the army so we didn't use them.

Weres the winch , boom, wheel lift and the rest of the tow truck :D
I don't see them working. They look too light and short -- they'd just become projectiles.
OTOH, I used to carry steel ramps that I could slide under my wheels if stuck, but they were much longer and heavier. Kind of like these.... (random image from Google Image Search)

I always spray paint or spray for bugs/weeds at night in the dark so the aim light would be excellent for me.

I would think You would do pretty good $$$$ setting up a table Dorchester / Roxbury and selling the Aim Lights .
Also near the MBTA yard would be a good spot. :cash

I don't think the tow truck in a box would sell . :grinz

If those things will get you unstuck, then you didn't need a tow truck in the first place.
Instead of buying those, just get a 3' piece of 2"x 8" and keep in your car or truck, will work the same. Works great when your by yourself and no one is there to give you a slight push.
What I want is the aim light. Would work great for all of those late night grafitii jobs down at the rail yard. :popcorn2 j/k

At work we have conveyor belting that has v patterns in it just nail that onto them 2x8 and would make a great traction device... I have been able to use salt when hung up a little bit, but if my truck gets in mud them things are not going to work...........
