Am I out of my mind? I thought there was a company that makes edges for V blades that get rid of the rubber center wiper on the fisher and western and the center hoof on the older Boss?
Links or name or a supplier would be greatly appeciated. Thanks :)
Edit: Ment to stick this in the acessories section. :o

Boss makes edges now that eliminate the center hoof as well as curb edges built right in......

My new Extreme V has a four piece 2 flat 2 rounded. Dont know if they will adapt to the older style? Just insalled on Sat. and no snow yet to try it out. Wore out my old EZ Vee after 6 years.Good luck. Also ordered the curb protectors today. Wore the pin mounts off my old one a few times.

I've got them on the Boss Vs - they have the curb guards and center hoof eliminator tabs (for lack of a better name). Not sure if they are Boss OEM or made by another source.
I get mine at www.snowplowparts.ca
It's a Canadian site - not sure if that's going to help you Philip.

These are the edges I made for my X-V, they'll also work on an EZ-V just need a 5/8" drill.

Thanks for the link :)
Have carbides on it now and they do wear REALY well. With the EZV I'm thinking I'm SOL without some modding I guess becasue the base edge dont leave room I suppose.
They make bolt on carbides for the EZV. I liked your directions for install though  The "bolt on" carbides were a lil to long in the middle and I had to do some triming and had to do exactly how you did, nothing fazes the carbide except a whack with a hammer
