Increase drop speed on plow?

Is there any way to make my plow drop faster than it does now? It's too slow for me, when dropping, and turning for that matter.
I just want it to drop faster, mainly for cutting into ice, packed snow, etc.

Is it possible for a new Curtis plow?

I don't know the answer, but I would be interested as well. Since the real cold moved in, it has gotten slower..presumably since the oil doesn't flow as well. Last storm was a little warmer, in the low 30's and the plow worked faster. But I would also be interested in any adjustment that can make the unit faster in general.
