Hey Guys,
I need a good reliable source for urethane edges. We have a new account that requires us to run urethane edges on the parking garages. I ordered one from Rubber Cal in CA and it doesnt seem that sturdy, nor will it last long. We also have a new snowway 22 series plow with a urethane edge. The edge that came on it from snoway is half gone after only a few storms. Where can I get some durable urethane edges that will last awhile? I would prefer somebody I can call and ask some questions. Thanks for the help.

Jerre of Jerre's Service (see banner above). You can pm him here, IM him (usually has it on), email him or call the garage. He knows all about them.

I bought a couple of Polar Edges from Steve (Pelican) a few years ago. Best edge I have run. Incredible wear, quiet and excellent scraping ability. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, or him.

I would highly recommend the Polar Edge brand u-edge. I have actually used more of the former MPT but also had issues with delivery times and consistent quality. Polar has been excellent on all counts.

Besides, Gregg pays for the keg at the GTG. :drinkup :drinkup

Talk to Steve or J, either of them are dealers. And hopefully my spinners will be showing up soon. ;) ;)

wanted to bring this back up, because I ordered wing u edges for my wideout, and a u edge for the 7.5 meyer...first time talking to Jerre and he came off exactly like the great guy everyone on here talks about........and the edges looked even better in person than i expected!!!!........thank you very much Jerre!!!! Ordered the stuff, and saw it on my front door step within a couple days:drool I've got the wideout done but havent got to the meyer yet......maybe 2moro. I might head to the shop in the morning(if it rains) with a big mug of some wonderful coffee I received 2day (from this :ff dealer that seems to have a thing for sheep:D) and get the meyer done......thank you by the way

Mark, Don't remember Gregg giving me cash for the kegs. I have picked them up for 3 years running.

Jerre,

Do you have any U edges that will fit a set of Pro Wings? Rubber just doesn't work on them. Do you sell by the foot or is it in standard lengths?

Thanks

Well, i finally got 2 use em......very wet n heavy 4 incher and everything went great.....only some slight chatter from the meyer, i was told, but went away before long.....the wideout was awesome w/ no chatter just good clean passes, and cleaned some curb edges with the comfort of knowing those beefy curb gaurds were there 2 protect my plow.........$$$ well spent, thanks again Jerre!!!
