700r4

What do you haft to do to put a 700r4 in a 1979 GMC c25? It has a th350 in it right now.

All I can tell you is the 77 R4 is longer, so the drive shaft will need to be made shorter, or saved from where you get the 700 from.

There appears to be a locking and a unlocking torque converter type trannies made as the 700 R4 so some other wiring might be needed depending on what tranny this it... Mac
