Is anyone using these? They were built in our area (don't know if they still are). I see a bunch of the around used & prices are reasonable, don't know about parts avaliablity either? Any thoughts?

It appears they used both engines, apparently went out of business in 1992. They are for sale all over (80's & early 90's models), was wondering why, probably parts avalability.

The old Trojan loaders were a reliable machine in it's hay-day and I believe Ehrbar Inc in NYC is still in business and has the parts. They were a dealer for Trojan

I have 2 of the last model of Trojans made. A 1500z and a 1900z, they have deutz motors, one has a zf transmission and one has a funk I think. Both loaders start up with no ether, not being plugged in right away on every cylinder. Nice machines, easy to get parts for. I spent some money on the 1900 because it was an old city machine and needed some work. But I paid $12,000 for it and put maybe $8,000 into it. I use those 2 machines strictly for snow, unless a loader goes down and we need it on a job.
