No More Toro 3650!!!!!!

My dealer informed me today that Toro has discontinued the 3650. Theyre replacing it with a 421Q 4stroke. That's more environmental friendly,:headwall Im so pissed we have 8 3650's and now we have to try some new P.O.S. To me, the 3650's work great with very little flaws, but corporate America will do anything to please the environmental wackos.

There are still a few out there to be found. I bought a 2450 on Friday and they are all on sale.

Typically 4-strokes are quieter right? That would be a good thing. I guess I'll wait to see how well they work before passing judgement. We all saw this coming though, everything else is going 4-stroke... With the downhill slide of Toro equipment quality lately, I have to say I'm a bit nervous about a new model, may have to go snag a 3650 before they're gone...

I was just up at Kasheta farms on route 5 in Windsor today pricing some out. He has a boatload of 3650's still from last year. he wanted $550.00 for one. Thats with I beleive the 6.5 horsepower motor and the crank built onto the handlebars.

The closest Toro dealer here has none of the older models, all the new "power clear" or whatever they are now... Sure are proud of them, $850!!! :eek:

My dealer has alot of the 3650's left, he is asking 549 for those, and 599 for the newer model. Not sure which one im going to get yet, I sure like my 3650's not sure if I trust the new model yet....

hey nick.....there is a rebate being offered right now. On the model that is $599 there is a $50.00 rebate, so essentially with the rebate you get a blower with 1.5 more horsepower, and the manual crank for the chute.

He mentioned that to me, I think the prices he gave me already had the rebate included. I sure wish I would have bought 3 more last year when I picked mine up for 489 with tax:(
