does any one know if there is a supplier for the trip springs for danials wing plows, i called danials and they seem very expensive.

I bought mine from them. Didn't check around much though.

FWIW, not sure what model you have, but on my 14' it came with only 2, they both broke the end of the first season, added 2 springs while replacing them and haven't broken one since. That was back in '99. My opinion is that on the older models he didn't have enough to begin with, all the contractors around me added at least 2 per plow and some did 4 on the 20' models. I believe he started adding more a couple years ago.

i have two one 20' LT and a 18' LT they both have 4 springs for plow, i push with L90's. just looking fo controll some costs. danial quoted $918.00 and i found a guy up north for $350.00. big difference for spending alittle time looking.

so if anyone know were to get springs please let me know.

i found 1/2" x 6" for $12.00 ft
5/8 x 6 for $14.00
3/4 x 6 for $16.00
3/4 x 8 for $20.00

this is the best price i can find, anyone find anything lower.

Don't quote me, but I'm thinking the guys around here are running 8 springs per 18 and 20'. I think most of them are the full size, so that makes a little bit of difference.

If I were you, I'd replace the broken ones and add at least 2 more per plow, I know it's spendy, but I bet you will get your money's worth by reducing or eliminating breakage in the future.

8 spring holie crap that seem like alot i only have 4 on there now, i better take a loan out to put more on. anyone know any spring manufactors?
