I'm just moving over to a 2000 Chevy 3500 from my older F350 with the old style under hood hydraulics.
I've picked up a MM1 plow and am trying to pull together the pieces for the truckside.
Fisher specs 7161 push plates for the truck. I've sourced a set of 7125 push plates from an 04 2500 at a reasonable price. From what I've been able to deduce these are the same except for possibly not requiring cutting of the airdam.
Is this accurate and will I be able to use them on my 2000 with a MM1?
Thanks for any help.
Joe

If your 2000 is the new body style not the 88-98 style then yes you can use the mount plates with your 2000. Jerre

MM1 and MM2 mounts are the same on the truck side hardware.

Thanks for the reply Jerre. Were both body types made in 2000? Other than minor sheetmetal changes I don't think it's significantly different than my 88 or 91 GMs.

Joe both bodies were made in 2000 for the 3500. The older 88-98 style pickup look and the 99-2006 pickup look. Like the suburbans and tahoe's the 3500's always seem to lag a year in some of the production units. We got a lot of 88 and 89 K3500's that were 73-87 styled trucks.

IF your 2000 looks like the 88-98 Pickups then the 2004 mounts won't work. If it looks like the 99-2006 pickups then it will. I have both style mounts used in stock if they one's you are looking at are the wrong ones.

Jerre,
I think it closer resembles the old body style. I'll email you offlist to discuss purchase.
Thanks for the help,
Joe

Arc the newer ones will fit back in that body series. The older one's need modified. The 1/2 ton and 3/4-1 ton's are different also.
