Does Anybody Have Cox Cable?

Does anybody else have COX cable? I have regular cable that costs me about $55 per month. About 2 months ago they moved Speed channel to their digital package. They want $75 per month for the digital package! Now they took Outdoor Life Network and moved it to digital package also. (quite the life I lead) They are forcing me to get the digital package in order to get the channels I want. Think they lowered my cable bill for two less channels? I could get Direct TV for $40 per month but I was told by two differnt companies that due to the layout of my property I would not be able to get a signal. Anybody else have some input? Thanks for reading.........

do you have a clear view of the sky in all 4 drections? i know for my house the dish had to be pointed to the southwest sky aslong as you can put it somewhere where it has a clear shot of the sky it will work good...

Yeah, Direct TV is pretty good. Just like Adam's Plowing said, as long as you have a clear view of the sky, you should be all right, and if you want it bad enough, get the chainsaw out:D We have ours shooting by a big willow tree, and it still picks up.

i dont have cox here in ma (used to in az) but I HATE CABLE COMPANIES!!!!!!!

i get tv,phone,internet piped in through them. i asked for another phone line and of course theres a story......"well sir, if you make any changes your original line will go up because your grandfathered in........"
