My nice new 03 F-450 has NO volts/amps gauge at all. Seeing how I am upgrading the Alt to a high out put I would really like to put a some quality gauges in the cab to monitor the performance and see where my draws are coming from.
Any suggestions or reccomendation???? Source of suppy too would help.

You can also get a gauge pod from them so it will look really nice when mounted.
Autometer gauges.
They also have a pod that goes over your steering colum.

That looks sweet. After seeing my dump truck you can see that I like to have things looking nice. Thanks

Ron,
I have SPA Techniques (http://www.spatechnique.com/store.asp?CategoryID=21&Category=Instrumentation&SubCategory=Dual%20Gauges&SubSubCategory=Black%20Face%20Black%20Bezel&CustID=697540532) gauges and love them;) They are dual gauges, so you get 2 for the space of one.
I don't see a volt/amp gauge listed but they may have one. Just give them a call:D
This is a pic of my A-pillar

Greg,
Even nicer, very kewl. I am not sure I am going to find a AMP meter to handle the 80-100AMPS at idel and 170-200 AMPs Max amps. But the digital volt meter would be nice. Either way I am looking to go on the pillar.
Thanks
Ron, you an get an AMP gauge that measures that high. They use a shunt to pass the current. A small sensor wire does to the actual meter. The shunt is remoted to near the battery.

Well I am still looking and calling around to find a AMP meter read the high AMPs, I might just end up with a Volts meter that would at least be something.

I wanna know where your sensing from, I have read several things about where to monitor the voltage from. I'm curious as to where this or I should say the correct take off should be..

Well I am still working on it. Once I get it all figured out I will pass it on.
