I was home eating lunch when i posted before.:)
I didn't want to eat in front of my wife since she can't eat any solid foods till tomorrow.
Plus she was going to try to take a nap and said i should go get something to eat while she was doing that.

They're both doing great.

Plow Grrl,

i took a bunch of photos with the new digital camera and as soon as i figure out how to hook it up to the computer i'll post some for ya to see.

Lily's got two brothers to watch out for her, one's 12 1/2 and the other's 8.
So us men still hold the numerical advantage in the house. :D

Congratulations on the new dishwasher:). Just kidding, but I just had to say that. Our girls hardly ever did the dishes. Enjoy your daughter, and may she be an added blessing to your family.

Congrats on the baby girl! We just had our first last June; Kylee Rose. Un-real how fast they grow! She's almost 8 months old, I can't believe it. Hold her as much as you can because it won't last long. Kylee is already wanting to play more and snuggle less and she can't even crawl yet! Good luck, I hope you enjoy it. I'm loving the whole "Daddy" thing; I just wish I had started sooner.

wow I was just saying that exact thing last night!!
I don't have any kids yet, and being over 30 I feel the clock ticking!!!!!! I just figure when it's meant to be it will happen!!:grinz

I was 38 when she was born and my wife was 36. We've both had a birthday since and the baby is still not a year old yet. When we married we figured "when it's meant to happen it will". After 14 years we thought "I guess it's not going to happen... let's build a house!" My wife was pregnant less than a month after I started construction! The worst thing about waiting so long (besides the obvious ones like being settled into a life of two; not always having the energy to play/entertain/tend to a baby after work every day, etc.) is when the woman hits 35 she becomes "high risk". The doctors and "specialists" are very scary when presenting you with the odds of a problem pregnancy, deformed retarded or Downs children, etc. My wife did have complications early on but we were lucky that our baby is healthy and perfect. Now the question is do we have another? The risks go up...
My mother had me at 41 but no one will believe that I was "normal"...

My mother had me when she was 45, and ask anyone that knows me, I am definitely not normal. :D My older brother is 20 years older than me, and I have five mothers (sister) in bewtween. I enjoyed growing up with my elderly parents, but they were gone too soon (but then I think everyone would say that).
My wife and I have had 5 children and they are all normal, so I guess it skips a generation. Just give those kids lots of love, that's what they need.

She has a pretty determined look in those eyes. Now YOU have to wonder what she is determined to get/do/try. :D
