I have the lights on an 02 gmc 2500hd. Right now the drivers side light on the truck is on and the passenger side light on the plow is on, when I turn the switch on for the plow lights its the opposite. I am not sure where the problem might be, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Brian

If I am understanding this correctly .. the d/s truck lights on, p/s truck light off
d/s plow light off and p/s plow light on.

Turn the plow lights on and you get d/s plow light on p/s plow light off truck light d/s off and p/s on

IS that correct?

with my setup.. a loose connection can give me on plow light not on.. but as far as the truck lights.. I think that is a seperate issue

Yes, one light on the truck is on and one on the plow opposite of each other, then when you turn the light on it is switched as to which one is off and on

My uncle just had the same problem with his 02 f-250, the h/l harness plug was melted on the d/s and so was the light box on the d/s, and that caused the hi beam fuse to blow out, so we just unpluged the plow h/l's and pluged the factory plugs back in.
