this is the first time really using a used EZ plow i picked up. IT goes really good other than, when there is just a little bit of weight on one wing it folds back really easy. I'm not talking about hitting something. i'm talking about traying to keep it starigh with moderatly heavy snow. we haven't even had any heavy wet snow yet. is there some kind of adjustment that could fix this?? or am i out of luck and just have to keep adjusting it with the controllder?

Yes, all you need is an adjustment. I had the same thing after two storms with the new V. Took it over to the dealer and they took care of it in a few minutes. Works fine now. I believe he said the hydraulic line pressure was set too high, but I'm not sure what that meant (I'm mechanically inept).

I'm having the same problem you mentioned.Did you fix it yourself?I ask because I bought mine in the box and I'm wondering if the dealer would fix this problem even though they did not install it.

It can be easliy fixed by adjusting the wing relief valves ( go to the Fisher site,Fisherplows.com and follow the links to the mechainics guide. There is a relief valve for each wing, and one for the hydraulic pump pressure. In some cases you may need to change the "o" ring on the relief valve itself, but usually if it is gone the wing will drift back without any load on it.
The easy setting is to screw the quill in till it bottoms and back it off a bit, I can't remember the # of turns 1 3/4 I think but it's in the guide.

Bill thanks for the info.I looked at the link you mentioned and thought maybe I should let the dealer I bought it from do it(I told the dealer I would pay for the adjustment) but that was almost a week ago and I never got a call back so I guess I will give it a try.

I looked on the fisher website. but i have a question. do i adjust both the secondary and primary relief valves for both sides? I figure i dont' touch the pump relief right? It shows the driveside and passengerside primary and secondary relief valve under the plastic cover. thanks.

FYI, When you are in Straight blade mode and backblading, if you angle one way or the other the outside wing will flare. When I purchased my EZ-V I noticed this and went back to the installer. They never saw it before and we changed everything. The Valves first, still did it. then the cylinders, still did it, then the pump. Never got it to stop. After continues calling Fisher Tech, they said it was aflaw in the design and there is no way to fix it :huh

Needless to say I was pretty upset. I purchased a Fisher because it was a Dual acting Cylinder, if I wanted it to flare I would have bought a boss! Boss way faster!!!

i don't have a problem with that actually. they don't really scrap very good backdragging, but my blade seems to stay pretty straight when i'm backdragging.

Well mine was at the dealer today for some adjustments(was told they needed some). They tested and everything is working good so I'm hoping the problem is gone.
