Have a 95 F250 that runs hot at highway speeds with the plow and prowings on. I try to take the wings off for long trips but htis doesnt totally correct the problem. I wanna add a fan to the truck. Has anyone else done this? Any tips? What kind of fans a popular and where online can i find one.
Thanks

Just a thought... Have you looked at one of those air scoop things?
I'm not sure what they're called. I've seen a couple of them around here. The bolt on to the top of the plow and pull air down and direct it into the radiator with a little chute. Would probably be cheaper and less hassle than a fan.

Look into changing your fan clutch first or just swap in a straight blade flex fan... alot easier than adding another fan.........

I have one of those plexy pieces that mounts on the lift arm and helps to push air to the radiator. I was on one of the Westerns we had. I think it is lying in a corner. If you want it i will give it to you for the shipping cost. Shoot me a PM with your address and i will let you know how much.
