i had a local dodge dealer update my truck and install and activate the coldweather high idle and 3 cyl disable. but its been cold here and below the specs that the tsb says it is supposed to activate and doesnt, any ideas? i figured that maybe one of the sensors (iat or coolant temp sensor) are out of range? will it activate if the truck is plugged in?

i just replaced my rear brake shoes and grease seals because the were leaking. now it seems that the brake pedal travels a little farther than it should. is there a proportioning valve out of adjustment? or the mechinism attached to the rear end? it also seems that the rear brakes do kinda get warm. if you push the pedal 2 or 3 x's is gets better. dont get me wrong, the truck stops a lot better but seems it travels about 1-11/2 inches father than it should. and again in could be in my head????

The low brake pedal may take a while to get better, until the shoes seat into the drums.Double check the brake adjustment,as it may be out.

The high idle may not take affect if the truck is plugged in.I would check with the dealer, just to make sure the flash was done correctly.

does anyone recommend or use winter grille inserts?
