It sucks when you get stuck. I saw this this morning when I was headed out to do some clean ups. Looks like the driver of the Bobcat was driving on top of some drifts and dropped thou the drifted snow. I wonder why the operator was not cleaning down to the cement? You can see the snow behind the bobcat, there was still about 10" of snow left behind.

Thats why it has a bucket and hydraulics to push it self around so as not to get stuck. What's up with that, new operator?

It's not part of my operation. I don't know why it would even be cleaning right down to the cement? I should have taken a picture of where it came from, there was still allot of snow that was left behind. It had to be someone new to operating a Bobcat.

Yea, otherwise they would have used the bucket to get themselves out.

I'm not even sure that they could :huh Looked like that there was about 12" of snow under the belly of the Bobcat, Talk about being high-sided!

Hey, is that Mark O's??? :rolling Sorry, couldn't resist! :haha

Gotta love hired help! Not sure how he did that or why he couldn't get it out... A skidder is the hardest machine to get stuck in snow to the point you need to winch it out. That one's funny right there...

Sounds like one of the kids that I was working with for a couple storms last year.. had to dig him out at least once that I can remember.

Obviously it wasn't a problem that you missed it John as plenty of others filled in for you.

Like I said, it won't be long before LTS becomes the world's largest collection of smartasses.

No comment Alan? Still waiting, I can link to the pics if you need a reminder. :wink

I was talking to my friend who works for the city of waltham, and he said they put all the morons in the bobcats. Instead of pushing the snow forward, backing up and doing it that way they try and turn and dump the snow on the street. Theyve knockd down walls, fences, bushes, you name it. Thats just the people they put in it.

I drove a T300 & a 2200D into pond on purpuse once , course it was pumped out. Still had 15 years of muck on the bottom.
I love my job !!!:D

The thing that kept going through my mind was the story I heard from a guy at United Rentals. Some home owner rented an 864 and was working around his house and pond. Brought the SS back and said there wasn't any power. They asked him what he was doing, he was digging out his pond, the water was 3-4' deep, sucked water into the intake, blew the engine, and all he could say was "It kept moving so I kept working". Not sure if they got their money from him or not, I know they were going after him for a new engine.

Ya I watched one of them turn to dump the snow and they ended up taking down about 50 feet of fence.
