My Uncle has a 7.5 that is about 10 years old. He had some work done on it and not it won't drop all the way. From a fully raised position it will drop about halfway and then stop. He can then push it the rest of the way down but it won't drop by itself. I'm not familiar with Boss. Is there a valve like Western's where you can adjust drop speed? Could this be a valve problem? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The Boss plows made in the last 10 years do have a flow control valve for down speed. Go to www.bossplows.com and look in the Tech section under installation manuals for the model of your plow and it will show you where it is. It will also give you the troubleshooting guide.

It's fixed. Needed a new cylinder.
