Sounds like a cable either broke or is out of adjustment. I can't tell ya how to adjust it but someone here will help ya out.

Seawood you need to take the cover off the 4-way valve again and look and see if the screw that holds the lever onto the shaft of the valve is loose allowing the lever to move and not the shaft.
This is very common and can be missed if you checking it out your self.
 John...............

What Garagekeeper said!!

It can't angle left becuse the cable is coming out of the housing, rather than moving it internally.

YUP........Prob. the hex. screw is stripped out in the pump
body. Mine did it too.....PIA.......I just used a bigger bolt
instead of another hex screw. It kept the cable in place.

Keeper.... shouldn't 1 of the cables have a adjuster on
it ? Mine did. I think it was for the angle adjustment ?
Western shows 2 different cable #s.

I got 10 HARD years outta my old Western unit.
Just hope my Ultra works as hard and is as troublefree.
