I have a new troy built blower that replace a 25 year old snapper blower.On the snapper it had a secound set of skid shoes that dropped down with a thumbe screw I have had to blow a little bit of gravel area of NON paved surface.
Well I had the machine forever and used to blow around my home and some of my back yard for my dog when the snow got deep.And I used to use it for my rear deck.
I had always assumed the adjustable legs were just an aftermarket product I would put on my troy built but as it turns out no body has heard of them and I was just wondering.Has anybody here seen them or made up a set.
Yes I know my skids are adjustable now but its a pain to have to keep reseting them with wrenches.
the old one you would leave the original skids as they are and tilt the blower back and just loosen a thub screw the leg would drop down and you were now ready to go off pavement.When done you just raised them up.
