Who makes a good forced air waste oil heater for a shop? Needs to be able to burn a combo of ATF, hydro, and motor oil. Any other thoughts or oppinions?

I have Clean Burns which have been ok i let them do a yearly on them but take care of the maint otherwise. You need to make a dedicated shop vac for cleaning them the soot and build up is build up quickly.

Mine burn two gallons a hour and will burn all three oils hydro is the sweetest and burns real good, make sure if you take in used oil from outsiders it doesnt have antifreeze mixed in or other contam.

My oldest unit had a heat exchanger crack out of warr and the repair was almost has much has the unit i gave 4500 each for them . I know there are other companys but overall the cleanburns have been ok.

Clean burns work well. I traded to a Shenandoah about 5 yrs ago. Keeping the electrodes clean is the only problem. Heavy diesel or "DIRTY" thick oil clogs them up the most. This thing will burn everyting from gear and axle lube to kerosene.

If I get alot of thick oils and don't have anything else to mix with it I will go get a 55 of kerosene or diesel and dump it in the resivoir with 300 gal of thick stuff.

Overall a good investment. Going to a boiler next for the infloor heating.

the guy i work for has three shops, we have reznor waste oil at all three locations, they are all about 6 yrs old now and have been pretty good. once you figure out what causes them not to work properly they really are pretty simple to work on. even with these mid teen temps i work in a 70 degree shop wich is really nice
