In addition to below. I tried the bright lights they both work on the plow headgear. Now I am really confused as to why the light is not working. Read below for the whole story.

Hi guys, 2/7/07

Here is my problem After plowing last night, I noticed towards the end of the commercial route that my passenger side head gear light was out. I said no problem I have an extra one and will put in during the daylight hours. Put new one in and still not working. I thought maybe a loose connection or something. Get to the iso module push on the connections and poof I have a light. I figured that was easy. Go to the truck tonight. Use remote door lock to open the truck. It comes on. Start truck and no light. I do have a turn signal light on that part of the head gear. Could the iso module be bad? Or can the connections be corroded. Sorry for the long post just trying to wake up here from a short nap after the storm.

Thanks,

JP

Update it seems to be working ok now. Took off the connectors and did some cleaning on them. But have any of had any problems with the module failining? Since I started this thread I have been out a number of times and it has stayed on after performing the cleaning.

Thanks,

JP

Best bet.. would be to replace to plug .. pretty simply on the plow side.. I still have not done the truck side yet.. but it solved that same problem that I was having

Thank you. I will take a look at it on Thursday. Do you know if you had a bad pin on the plow side of the plug?

Thanks,

JP

JP,

I would assume that by me replacing the plow side and it seems to not be an issue anymore that it was on the plow side.. but I still will try to do the truck side this summer

We've hadnothing but problems with the light modules. Like dominos, they drop one by one until we abandoned them altogether. Kaffenbarger and Buckeye Truck (or whatever they are called this week) can't get just the modules individually from the whole harness. We have tried other vendors like PPW and CPW as well, but to no avail.

I talked to Buckeye truck or Ace truck body or ? they said they sell them in pairs. Talked to Principal and they do sell them as a single unit. But this is after I got the connections cleaned up and working. I need to do some off season investigation on some other plows that is for sure.
