found a damp spot of hydro on the concrete and bottom of the pump and valve cover saterday, was wounder do I have to have the blade on the truck and down to remove the pin for the lift clyd off to get the cover off so I can see if the pump or valve is leaking or can i do it with out it hook up to the truck? looked under the cover at the plug it is not leaking ?

No you don't need to hook the plow to the truck, you can remove the cylinder pin with the plow on the ground, just push the tower back a bit so you can get the pin out. Then move the cylinder aside and remove the cover. Chances are that the tower has not been "powered" down all the time which will cause hydraulic fluid to be blown out the breather on the top of the resavoir and onto the power unit and mounting.

if it s doing that, then Im guessing its drips down the inside of the cover to the bottom then. just asking call me stupid just kind of worried first new plow in a while and and do not want to blow it up.

Man there are "no" stupid questions believe me. Yes if it does come out the breather it will flow over the tank and along the bottom of the mount, it's still a good idea to check it out to be sure.
