i just replaced the plow side harness ( 9 pin ) and it isnt as tight of a fit as my old one. what can i do to make this tight. the plow and lights will only work if there is down pressure on the harness, as in if i just plug it in no go i have to plug it in and then push down on it . right now i have 2 zip ties and a bungee cord holding it in postion, but that is only a temp fix. If i goop in the dielectric greaser it stays i places for about 2 hours before it works it way loose. what can i use to fill in the connections and goop it in there. could i use silicone and then zip tie it?? any ideas would be great

TOP..........I assume you have a Western/Fisher setup?

If so Western has a kit or replacement harness to solve
the connectors coming loose.
I use 2 big trash bag twist ties to hold my connectors
together. Then its easy to take them off when I want to
remove the plow..................geo

Take a pair of channel lock type pliers and give the truck side connector a couple of squeezes at the end of the plug. this will help to close the sockets back up.
