Is the 1.5 close enough to the 2 ? I have plenty of 1.5 in house .

For general chassis lube, it should be fine, I suppose. But I've never seen a grease spec like that.
The common NGLI specs are 2, 1, 0 and 00. Double zero is very low temp / light load spec. 2 is by far the most common and has the highest load carrying capability, but can be hard to use in cold temps. I tried to grease my truck the other day with cold grease and it wouldn't pump.

Leo you are right . I called Mobil and they said their 1.5s are now called 2
I didnt ask them why they offered 1.5 because it isnt in the testing spec ? Good enough for me, I am using it in the motorhome , Spartan and its part vendors call for #2 .
