Hi this is a neat site. I'm looking at a meyer EZ mount plow that is on a "94 Chevy 1/2 ton, to put on my "95" F150. Can the under frame mount be converted or is it best to look for a trade. I'm fairley handy with the flame wrench and welder.
Also can anyone direct me to a site to learn more about these plows? I see refrences here to E47 E60. Pumps or motors? What should I be looking for in this type of used plow? Thanks for any help.

Hi

E47 and E60 refers to the pump

The E47 is a standard pump, the E60 is a heavy duty pump that is much quicker than the E47.

As far as the mounts are concerned, Try Jerre's Service or Storks, they may be willing to take a trade, typically these mounting cartons can run between $200-$450 used plus shipping. If you are skilled with fabrication and have the proper equipment, then you can determine if you can modify what you have by studying both the mount and the truck to see if its a reasonable retro fit.

Good Luck
