I was just going to post something about this. I seem to be losing subscriptions to threads and not getting notifications to areas I am subscribed to.
The other thing I have noticed, if I visit ANY thread on the site, then go back to the msg list, about 2/3 of the time ALL msgs on the site are flagged as being read.
Any ideas?

I thought is was something I was doing also, but it seams others are having the same problem. Where have all the subscriptions gone?
Thanks for the Help

This is one we need Chuck to take care of ;) I sent him a note so hopefully he'll get to investigate within a day or so.

Yes, after 900 seconds of inactivity (meaning reading one page) all threads are automatically marked "read".I think 900 seconds (15 minutes) of inactivity is a fair amount of time before threads are marked "read". All it takes is to go to another thread, or even to refresh the page you are reading to keep the other threads from being marked "read".
So if you need a break from the computer, log out first. Of course logging out will also mark all threads read though......
I can't seem to find any problem or reasons for subscriptions to not be working. Check your SPAM filters.
AOL did me a "favor" and started treating mail from my domain as SPAM. I missed about 30 new registrations before I caught it! It also decided mail from SIMA was SPAM, and from two of my close friends with Hotmail addresses......

I was also experiencing no email reminders of thread updates. I just re subscribed to some.
AOL........ CHUCK!??  Why would you put yourself through the misery?
My Netscape mail Junk screening is rather cool. It's actually "smart", and learns what is good or bad.
As much as I like Netscape, I hate its brother AOHell. Wish they'd never had merged.
Anyways....
