View Full Version : Meyer Lift arm fix.
My fix for the lift arm for the meyer, just a 1 5/8" rod I bored 5/8" holes in on the lathe. Added a grease fitting so they can be lubed.

Very nice work. The grease fitting is a good idea too.
That's the way they should have been made in the first place.
nascar,
If I dug around for a while I bet I could find 50 of these in various conditions. Ive got plenty :)
Thanks guys,
Next project may be a new heavy duty A frame for one of the tractors..
I did that fix on my arm last year inc the zerk fitting. I also drilled a hole in the main piviot pins, then welded a 1/4-20 nut over the hole so that I had a place to put a zerk fitting there also....nice job
Yah we have done all our pivot pins like that, its a pain in the ass to have to cut them out when they get frozen in. Most times If it can't move it with heat to get them out I just cut the whole works out and start from scratch. Ive wasted way too much time messing with them in the past..
