We use a product called "Clearlane." It is kind of like magic "O" It is a treated salt sprayed with 2 chemicals. I can't remember the name of the spray that they use, but i will find out tomorrow. This stuff works fast and to a very low temperature. It is not just regular salt, smells like molasses almost....have used this product for years and been very happy with it's interaction with plant-life and newer concrete. True, salt is salt, but this seems to work very well, and we haven't had many complaints. First picture is 250 tons before the ice storm this past weekend. Jon
