Hooked up my plow on my 03 2500 D Max and the back of reservoir tank hits my bumper, not much space at all. Wondered if this was normal. Don't remember it being that close on my 02.

I know this sounds silly but are both pins engadged or is the tower pushing all the way up and past where the pins engadge?

Welcome aboard jence.
I live a little south of you and actually work in Des Moines.
Sounds like a little snow for the weekend, we'll see.
Glad to see another Iowa plower,

Been out plowing this week, had 6-8 inches of snow and the Boss performed flawlessly again. As far as the mount, I checked the Boss website and it list only 1 mount for the 02/03 truck and it's the same.

The reason the boss web site only lists one mount is because the new mount for the 03/04 is also being used for the 2000/ 02 model years. If you are using a mount from you're 02 it will hit the bumper. I am surprisesd it even fits. I tried using my mount from my 01 chev on my 03 gmc and it hit the bumper before the pins were fully engaged. You're going to have to spring for a new mount.
